Noh Seung-yul has narrowly made the cut at the PGA Tour Corales Puntacana Championship, which features a total prize purse of 4 million dollars.

On July 18 (KST), Noh carded a 1-over-par 73 in the second round at the Puntacana Resort and Club (par 72) in Puntacana, Dominican Republic, recording three birdies, two bogeys, and one double bogey.

With a total score of 3-under-par 141, Noh finished in a tie for 65th place, successfully advancing to the weekend rounds.

Noh, who primarily competes on the PGA Tour's secondary Korn Ferry Tour, was making his fourth appearance in a regular tour event this year.

Of his three previous tournament appearances, he only made the cut at The CJ Cup Byron Nelson in May, where he finished tied for 18th. This marks his second time competing in the weekend rounds this season.

Noh struggled early in the day, dropping two strokes on the front nine with a bogey on the 11th hole (par 3) and a double bogey on the 14th hole (par 5), putting his chances of making the cut in jeopardy. However, he managed to shave one stroke off his score on the back nine to barely qualify for the weekend.

Bae Sang-moon, who made a rare PGA Tour appearance via a sponsor exemption, struggled throughout the event, losing 5 strokes in the first round and 3 strokes today. He finished with a total of 8-over-par 152, placing him near the bottom of the leaderboard and missing the cut.

The leader is Todd Clements of England, who sits at 13-under-par 131.

Clements, who competes on the DP World Tour, shot 7-under in the first round and 6-under today, taking a two-stroke lead over the group tied for second place.

This tournament, designed for players who did not qualify for The Open Championship—a major tournament held during the same period—features 50 players from the DP World Tour as part of a strategic partnership between the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour.
