A fire broke out on the third floor of a building in Geumchon Market, located in Geumchon-dong, Paju, Gyeonggi Province, at approximately 10:34 p.m. yesterday (July 17).

The fire left six residents of the commercial building with minor injuries, including smoke inhalation.

Fire authorities mobilized 36 pieces of equipment and 70 personnel, successfully extinguishing the blaze completely in 53 minutes.

Police and fire authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
