A 7.3 magnitude earthquake has struck off the Pacific coast, 50 kilometers southwest of Mexico.

Immediately following the earthquake, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued a warning, stating that there is a risk of tsunamis reaching heights of 0.3 to 1 meter along the coasts of Mexico and Guatemala.

The center also analyzed that tsunamis of less than 0.3 meters are expected in other Central and South American countries, including Colombia, Costa Rica, and Ecuador.

No casualties have been reported so far due to this earthquake.

This earthquake occurred approximately three weeks after a series of strong earthquakes struck northern Venezuela on June 24.
