A fire broke out on the second floor of a multi-unit housing complex in Siheung-dong, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, around 11:00 a.m. today and was extinguished in about an hour.

Three residents evacuated on their own, and there were no casualties.

At 11:33 a.m., the Geumcheon-gu Office sent a safety alert to residents near the scene, advising them to be cautious of smoke.

Fire authorities are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of property damage.
