SBS reporters Noh Yujin, Bae Yeo-woon, and Jung Da-eun, along with SBS A&T staff Seol Min-hwan, Choi Hye-young, and Kim Jong-tae, have been awarded the second-quarter Investigative Reporting Award by the Broadcast Journalists Club (BJC) for their series on the so-called wildfire cartel.

The report was highly commended for its in-depth investigation into the illegal practice of leasing professional licenses by ghost forestry corporations and the government's lax oversight, effectively exposing the structural issues embedded throughout the forestry industry.
