Three workers in their 50s fell from the third floor of a commercial building in Maetan-dong, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, while performing remodeling work at approximately 9:20 a.m. today (July 16).

Two of the workers sustained serious injuries, including fractures, while the third suffered minor injuries. All three were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

It was reported that all three victims were conscious when transported and are currently not in life-threatening condition.

The accident occurred when the three workers were standing together on a brick railing installed on the third-floor unit to install a window sash, causing the railing to suddenly collapse.

They were identified as employees of a remodeling company.

A police official stated, "We will conduct a comprehensive investigation into the cause of the accident and whether safety regulations were followed at the site."
