As heat wave warnings remain in effect, primarily for eastern regions, the country will experience hot weather today, July 16, with perceived temperatures rising above 31°C (88°F) in many areas.

In Pohang, where a heat wave warning is currently in place, the daytime perceived temperature is expected to reach as high as 35°C (95°F).

Due to the influence of a stagnant front, rain is expected in regions south of Chungcheong today.

Rain clouds are currently situated over the Chungnam and Honam regions, and they will gradually spread to the Yeongnam region.

The expected precipitation ranges from a minimum of 5mm to a maximum of 80mm, with over 100mm of heavy rain forecast for the west coast of the Honam region.

The rain will continue until tomorrow, which is Constitution Day.

On the day after tomorrow, rain is expected in various parts of the country.

In particular, strong and heavy rainfall is forecast, mainly in the central regions, so please take precautions to prevent any rain-related damage.
