Behind-the-scenes footage of actor Jo In-sung, who delivers dynamic action and intense energy in the film 'HOPE', has been released.
The character-making video for 'Seong-gi', released by Plus M Entertainment on the 16th, offers a glimpse into the intense efforts of Jo In-sung, who plays the role of a local youth in Hopohang who takes on any job that pays.
Describing 'Seong-gi' as a "character who shows a will to survive, struggling to stay alive," Jo performed not only the chase scenes spanning from Retezat, Romania, to vast highways, but also high-difficulty horseback action, including firing a gun while riding a horse at high speed. Furthermore, he maximizes the film's immersion by vividly expressing the survival instinct of someone who guards against an unknown entity attacking the village and fights back with his entire body to survive.
"I knew I had to have a strong resolve to take on a project like this, and I poured all the energy I had into every single scene, treating each one as precious," Jo said, sharing his thoughts.

Jo is drawing attention for the acclaim he has received from international media and critics for his high-difficulty, no-stunt action performance. The International Business Times noted, "Jo In-sung brings intense energy to the role of the pursuer," while Ioncinema praised his performance, stating, "The action sequence where Jo In-sung appears on horseback is the best sequence in the film. The character he plays establishes himself as a figure who steals the audience's attention with a strong survival instinct."
'HOPE' begins when 'Beom-seok', the head of the Hopohang branch located in the Demilitarized Zone, hears news from local youths that a tiger has appeared, leading to an emergency across the village as they encounter an unbelievable reality. 'HOPE', which was released on the 15th, debuted at number one at the box office, drawing 330,000 viewers on its first day.
