Do Dae-yoon and Kim Ye-rim of the mixed duo Togeworl, who appeared on television together for the first time in 13 years, opened up about their hiatus.

On the episode of the KBS2 variety show "Happy Together - Glad I'm Not Alone" airing tomorrow, July 17, Togeworl, who gained immense popularity after forming through an audition program in 2011, will stand on stage together for the first time in a long while.

In particular, Do Dae-yoon, who left for the United States after the group suspended activities, drew attention by revealing his recent life.

He surprised the cast by stating, "I worked in various jobs, including warehouse work, quality control, and bartending," adding, "I even worked as a manager for Jang Beom-june of Busker Busker until recently."

Previously, Do appeared on the 2024 KBS Joy program "Ask Anything" and confessed that he suffered from severe mental health struggles due to sudden popularity and a hectic schedule following "Superstar K3." He shared that around the age of 20, he was involuntarily hospitalized in a psychiatric facility by his mother due to symptoms of bipolar disorder and received treatment for two months.

Yoon Jong-shin, who reunited with Togeworl after a long time, expressed his joy, saying, "I had no idea they were coming. It is so good to see you." Yoon was the lead producer at Mystic Story, the agency Togeworl was signed to during their active years.

Recalling those days, Kim Ye-rim said, "In the early days of joining the agency, I practiced with Yoon Jong-shin's songs. When working on new tracks, he would even record himself singing the songs in voice memos." Upon hearing this, Lee Hyo-ri joked, "With Jong-shin oppa's voice singing 'All Right'?" which brought laughter to the set.

Above all, the two candidly confessed their feelings about the time they stopped their activities. Do, who had previously disclosed his bipolar disorder diagnosis, said, "I could not properly explain my situation to Ye-rim. I feel sorry and grateful to Ye-rim, who had to promote alone."

In response, Kim replied, "I felt regret because our activities ended so abruptly," adding, "I was able to be with him again because Dae-yoon gathered the courage first. I felt once again that we had great chemistry," adding significance to their reunion after 13 years.

The honest stories and comeback performance of Togeworl will be revealed on KBS2's "Happy Together - Glad I'm Not Alone" on July 17.
