Last month, housing prices in Seoul saw a triple increase, with the growth rates for purchase, Jeonse (long-term deposit rent), and monthly rent all accelerating.
According to the housing price trend survey for June, the average housing purchase price in Seoul rose by 1.03% compared to the previous month, marking the highest level recorded so far this year.
Jeonse and monthly rent prices also saw their growth rates expand by more than 0.1 percentage points, continuing an upward trend of around 1%.
The growth rate for Jeonse in Seoul reached its highest level in approximately 15 years, while the growth rate for monthly rent was the highest since the statistics were first published in June 2015.
