Hive Media Corp, the production company behind the 10-million-viewer film 12.12: The Day, and Valla Company, a powerhouse in entertainment content, have joined forces to launch a new global talk show titled Girl-Cr-C.
Girl-Cr-C, an abbreviation for Girls Cross Talk Club, will bring together women from across the globe to engage in honest and lively discussions on various topics, including dating, careers, culture, and lifestyle. As the show promises a hyper-realistic value-clash talk show that breaks down borders and taboos, anticipation is building over who will join the cast.
Girl-Cr-C is currently recruiting global female crew members to lead the program. Applicants must be at least 19 years old (born in 2007 or earlier) and capable of communicating in Korean. There are no restrictions on nationality or profession, and those residing overseas may apply if they are able to enter and stay in South Korea for the filming schedule. Details regarding the recruitment can be found on the official social media channels, and applications can be submitted via a Google Form.
The new variety show is drawing attention due to the expertise of its production team. Hive Media Corp, which produced hit films such as 12.12: The Day, Inside Men, and The Man Standing Next, has teamed up with Valla Company, the production house behind the mega-hit YouTube channel Zzanhan Bro Shin Dong-yup, which has surpassed 2.12 million subscribers and 600 million cumulative views. The production team aims to deliver fresh entertainment by featuring global participants with talent and wit, rather than relying on established celebrities.
The production team stated, "This is a new global talk show where women representing the world gather to share their stories without pretense, hesitation, or filters, despite their different cultures and similar concerns," adding, "We look forward to applications from many individuals with their own unique personalities and stories."
