For those using AI services, there are now ways to save on subscription fees through mobile carriers.

South Korea's three major mobile carriers have begun competing to offer discounts on generative AI service subscriptions.

SK Telecom has introduced three types of "Google AI Plans" on its subscription platform, "T Universe."

Customers can receive a discount of up to 2,100 won per month compared to the regular price, and for new rate plan subscribers, the company has also prepared bundled packages that include the Google AI plan, YouTube Premium, and Netflix.

KT is offering a 50 percent discount, up to a maximum of 5,000 won, on Google Play subscription payments made through "KT Contents Pay" throughout this month.

LG Uplus has also prepared a promotion that allows users to receive discounts on AI services through mobile phone billing.
