Train operations on Seoul Subway Line 5 experienced a temporary disruption at Yeouido Station during the evening commute.

Seoul Metro stated that a malfunction occurred in a train bound for Banghwa at Yeouido Station around 6:40 p.m. today (July 14), causing service delays for approximately 10 minutes.

Train operations have since returned to normal. All passengers on the affected train were asked to disembark and board the following train.

Seoul Metro is currently investigating the exact cause of the malfunction.
