The Korean Sport & Olympic Committee (KSOC) announced that it received a 'Good' rating in the 2025 management performance evaluation of other public institutions and organizations conducted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The committee, which had received an 'Insufficient' rating in the 2024 management performance evaluation conducted last year—placing it at the bottom among the evaluated institutions—has raised its rating by two levels this time.

According to the KSOC, among the 42 institutions subject to this evaluation, only six saw an increase in their ratings compared to the previous year, and the KSOC is the only one to have improved by two or more levels.

The KSOC assessed that these results were positively reflected in the evaluation, stating, "Since the inauguration of President Yoo Seung-min, we have reorganized the overall operation of the organization with fairness and transparency as our top priorities. We have accelerated organizational innovation by strengthening the responsible management system and swiftly pushing forward various improvement tasks to restore trust in sports administration and innovate our systems."

President Yoo Seung-min said, "We will continue to pursue change and innovation without stopping, and we will do our best in responsible management and institutional improvement to build a Korean Sport & Olympic Committee that is trusted by the public and athletes."
