Singer J.Y. Park and all members of the groups TWICE and Stray Kids have obtained voting rights to participate in the selection process for the U.S. Grammy Awards.
JYP Entertainment announced that a total of 18 artists from the agency, including singer J.Y. Park, the nine members of TWICE, and the eight members of Stray Kids, have been selected as voting members of the Recording Academy, which hosts the Grammy Awards.
Voting membership is a status granted to creators working in the music industry, such as artists, songwriters, producers, and engineers, granting them the authority to participate in voting for Grammy Awards nominees and winners.
JYP CEO Jung Wook and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) Shin Hyun-kook, who also serves as the CEO of JYP America, have been selected as professional members of the Recording Academy.
Professional membership is intended for music business experts who support music creators; while they do not have voting rights for the Grammy Awards, they are eligible to participate in the submission process.
Singer J.Y. Park, who serves as the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of JYP, along with CEO Jung Wook and CEO Shin Hyun-kook, were previously named in the Multi-Sector category of the 2026 Billboard Power 100 in January, which selects influential figures in the global music industry across various sectors.
In March, they were also named to the 2026 Billboard International Power Players, which recognizes leaders who are driving the global music market outside of the United States.
The 69th Grammy Awards will be held in Los Angeles on February 7 of next year.
