Ahn Bo-hyun and the Violent Crimes Unit 1 are returning with a more spectacular scale and strengthened teamwork in 'Flex X Cop'.

On July 14, the production team of the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Flex X Cop 2' (written by Kim Ba-da, directed by Kim Jae-hong) released stills capturing the class-apart investigation scene of the Violent Crimes Unit 1, led by protagonist Jin I-soo (played by Ahn Bo-hyun).

'Flex X Cop 2', which follows 'Manager Kim' and is set to premiere on Friday, August 7, is a refreshing and exhilarating investigative drama about Jin I-soo, a chaebol detective who uses his wealth to turn the tables when investigations hit a dead end, and the new team leader, Joo Hye-ra (played by Jung Eun-chae). As a key pillar of the SBS "cider" (cathartic) universe, following in the footsteps of 'Taxi Driver', 'The Fiery Priest', and 'The Judge from Hell', it is a highly anticipated work that will kick off the 2026 SBS seasonal drama lineup with an expanded worldview and cheerful charm.

The stills unveiled today immediately grab attention by featuring the interior of Jin I-soo's ultra-luxurious private jet. With his hair perfectly slicked back and wearing a high-end tailored suit, Jin I-soo announces his unrivaled return with a relaxed posture, lounging in a luxury recliner seat while holding a crystal whiskey glass as if it were second nature.

Above all, what made viewers doubt their eyes is the dramatic transformation of his Violent Crimes Unit 1 colleagues, Park Joon-young (played by Kang Sang-jun) and Choi Kyung-jin (played by Kim Shin-bi). Park Joon-young, a principled man who fiercely guarded against Jin I-soo last season by calling him a "parachute hire," and the MZ-generation youngest member Choi Kyung-jin, who showed infinite fandom, have completely shed their usual rugged detective appearances. Looking like members of a high-class social club, the two boast sophisticated suit fits and gaze out the window while holding whiskey glasses, exuding Jin I-soo's signature "high-end sensibility." Their visuals, now infused with Jin I-soo's style, hint that they have finally synchronized into a true "one team."
