Defender Kwon Kyung-won, who led FC Anyang to victory with his first goal of the season, has been named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of Round 17 of the Hana Bank K League 1 2026, the Korea Professional Football League announced on July 14.
Kwon scored the winning goal in an away match against Incheon United held at the Incheon Football Stadium on July 12, securing a 1-0 victory for Anyang.
In the 4th minute of the first half, Kwon calmly finished a cross delivered by Matheus during a set-piece situation.
It was Kwon's first goal of the season.

The match between Incheon and Anyang was also selected as the Best Match of Round 17.
On that day, Anyang goalkeeper Kim Jeong-hoon recorded 8 saves, playing a major role in the team's third clean sheet of the season.
The Best Team for Round 17 is Pohang Steelers.
Pohang secured a 3-0 victory in an away match against Gwangju FC held at the Gwangju World Cup Stadium on July 11, scoring 3 goals for the second consecutive match.
Nishiya Kento and Jeong Han-min both scored their debut goals for Pohang.
