Water supply was cut off in parts of Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province, around 4:50 p.m. today (July 12), causing inconvenience to residents amid the sweltering heat.

Uijeongbu City sent out an emergency text message stating, "A water outage is occurring due to issues with water pipes, and we will take prompt action."

As of now, it has been confirmed that the outage affects areas including Uijeongbu 1-dong, Ganeung-dong, Singok-dong, and Millak-dong. Officials are currently on-site investigating the cause of the water supply disruption.
