Jang Dong-hyuk Heads to Busan Today to Attend Rally Denouncing Infringement of Voting Rights

People Power Party leader Jang Dong-hyuk is visiting Busan today (July 12) to continue his off-site political activities, joining local youth and citizens in calling for a re-election following the June 3 local elections. Leader Jang is scheduled to attend the Busan-Gyeongnam regional youth and university student field meeting regarding the June 3 disenfranchisement incident at the People Power Party’s Busan Metropolitan City branch this afternoon.

It is reported that most of the party leadership and several incumbent lawmakers from the Busan region will also be in attendance at the meeting.

Following the meeting, Leader Jang plans to attend a rally at Seomyeon Heart Plaza in Busan to denounce the infringement of voting rights.

Starting with a meeting with youth groups in Incheon and the metropolitan area on the 8th, Leader Jang plans to visit Gwangju and the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region after his visit to Busan today to continue calling for re-elections and reforms of the National Election Commission.
