Two motorboats collided on the Namhan River in Sangjin-ri, Danyang-eup, Danyang-gun, North Chungcheong Province, at around 1:00 p.m. today (July 11).

As a result of the accident, a man in his 50s who was on one of the boats sustained serious injuries to his leg and chest and was transported to a hospital. Another man in his 50s received emergency treatment for facial injuries.

The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
