The professional baseball All-Star Game has recorded a sellout for the fifth consecutive year.

The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) announced that "as of 5:28 p.m., all 23,750 seats have been sold out."

Today's game serves as the farewell All-Star stage for Jamsil Baseball Stadium, which is scheduled to be demolished after this year and reborn as a domed stadium.

This marks the fifth sellout in the history of the professional baseball All-Star Game, with the stadium reaching full capacity for five straight years from 2022 to this year.

The All-Star Game was not held in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the 2019 game, held at Changwon NC Park in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, to commemorate the stadium's opening, failed to sell out.

The record for the highest attendance at an All-Star Game was set during the first game of the 1984 series held at Jamsil, which drew 35,000 spectators.

Jamsil Baseball Stadium has consistently undergone renovations to become more fan-friendly, which has led to a steady decrease in its maximum seating capacity.

The Jamsil Domed Stadium (tentative name), scheduled to open in 2032, is planned to be built with a capacity of 30,000 seats.
