A multi-vehicle collision involving four passenger cars occurred on the Wanggil Overpass in Geomdan-gu, Incheon, at approximately 6:09 a.m. today (July 11).

As a result of the accident, two drivers were transported to the hospital in a state of cardiac arrest.

Another individual was transported to the hospital in a semi-conscious state, and one person classified with minor injuries also received medical treatment.

Traffic on the Wanggil Overpass was restricted as the vehicles involved in the accident became tangled on the road.

Geomdan-gu issued a safety alert text message, stating, "Lanes 1 and 2 in both directions from Handeul-ro Intersection to Wanggil Overpass on Bongsu-daero are fully controlled," and advised, "Please detour if you are entering the area."

The police plan to investigate the specific circumstances of the accident.
