The author of the post stated that while they were drinking three strawberry smoothies ordered from an independent cafe, they felt something strange in their mouth, and upon spitting it out, they discovered metal shards.

It was confirmed that a cafe employee had mistakenly blended a metal spoon while preparing the smoothie.

The cafe offered a refund and suggested a medical check-up, but since there were no immediate symptoms, the customer decided to monitor the situation, according to the report.

However, the customer claimed they were disappointed by the cafe's dismissive response during subsequent discussions about compensation, alleging that the cafe only focused on insurance processing and even suggested that the customer eat pork belly to "wash it down" with the grease.
