A momentary power outage occurred near the Daewangpangyo Interchange in Bundang-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, at approximately 3:40 p.m. yesterday (July 9) after a crow made contact with a high-voltage power line.

The crow was killed instantly by electrocution, and parts of Sangjeok-dong, Geumto-dong, and Godeung-dong experienced a power cut lasting about one second.

Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) stated that there was no damage to equipment or any further impact.
