A man in his 60s died yesterday (July 9) after falling into a manure storage tank while working at a pig farm in Goryeong, North Gyeongsang Province.

According to police and labor authorities, the victim, identified as A, was working to collect manure to be used as liquid fertilizer from the top of the storage tank at 7:43 a.m. when the accident occurred.

A police official stated, "A colleague reported the accident, and it was determined that A drowned at the scene," adding, "We will investigate the exact circumstances of the incident."
