The Korea Meteorological Administration announced that a heavy rain warning for Anseong took effect as of 9:15 a.m. today (July 9).
A heavy rain warning is issued when 3-hour rainfall is expected to exceed 90 mm or 12-hour rainfall is expected to exceed 180 mm.
Residents are advised to refrain from going out or driving, and to exercise caution near rivers and streams.
Heavy rain advisories remain in effect for Pyeongtaek, Osan, Icheon, southeastern Yeoju, and southern Yongin.
