National team winger Eom Ji-sung (24, Swansea City), who competed in the 2026 North and Central America World Cup, will visit his former club, Gwangju FC, to greet fans.
Eom will attend the Gwangju World Cup Stadium on July 11 at 7:30 PM, where the Hana Bank K League 1 2026 Round 17 match between Gwangju and Pohang Steelers will take place.
Eom is a representative franchise star for Gwangju, having risen through the club's youth system before making his professional debut.
After developing into a key player at Gwangju, he transferred to Swansea City in the English Championship (second division) to play on the European stage and made his World Cup debut during the North and Central America tournament.
Currently on break after concluding his World Cup schedule, Eom will reunite with Gwangju fans before joining his club to prepare for the new season.
Eom is scheduled to hold a fan signing event before the match and will spend time expressing his gratitude to the fans after the game concludes.
Details regarding the operation of the signing event and how to participate will be announced through the club's official social media (SNS) channels.
Additionally, the club's signature July home game event, the Gwangju FC Water Festival, will also be held during the match.
Club "one-club man" Lee Min-ki will provide free coffee to the first 200 fans to commemorate his 200th career K League appearance.
