A landslide warning was issued for the entire Seocheon County in South Chungcheong Province as of 2:26 p.m. today (July 8).

Along with the warning, Seocheon County sent out emergency disaster text messages, stating, "Access to mountains is restricted. Residents near forest areas are advised to evacuate to a safe location and continue to monitor weather conditions."

A heavy rain warning was also issued for Seocheon as of 1:05 p.m. today.

Landslide advisories are currently in effect for Sejong City and the South Chungcheong cities and counties of Nonsan, Cheonan, Buyeo, and Gongju.
