Three members of a family have been found dead in an apartment in Osan, Gyeonggi Province.

The Osan Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced today (July 8) that a man in his 50s, identified as A, his wife in her 50s, and their son in his 20s were found dead in their apartment.

Police were dispatched to the scene after receiving a report at approximately 8:50 p.m. yesterday from an acquaintance of A, who stated, "A sent a text message expressing pessimism about his life."

The text message sent by A contained content expressing financial difficulties, and a suicide note was discovered inside the apartment.

Police stated that there were no signs of forced entry or foul play, and they plan to request an autopsy from the National Forensic Service to determine the exact circumstances of their deaths.
