The group Cortis is continuing an extraordinary streak of records.
According to the Apple Music 'Top 100: South Korea' chart on July 7, Cortis's 'REDRED' has held the top spot for 73 consecutive days as of that day, marking the third-longest run at number one in history. Since first reaching the top on April 26, the song has not yielded its position for a single day. This achievement is particularly noteworthy given that the group is only in its first year since debut.
'REDRED,' the title track of their second mini-album, is growing its presence beyond Korea and into the international market. As of June 16, the song surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify Global. This milestone was reached just 57 days after its release, making it the fastest record for a song by a K-pop boy group that debuted within the last five years.
The group is also cruising on the Billboard charts. As of the latest chart released on July 7 (dated July 11), 'REDRED' has appeared on the Billboard charts for 10 consecutive weeks. It ranked 63rd on the 'Global 200' and 32nd on the 'Global Excl. U.S.' chart, rising two and three spots respectively from the previous week. It maintained its 11th position on the 'Hot Dance/Pop Songs' chart.
Album performance is also providing strong support. The album 'GREENGREEN' entered the 'Billboard 200' at 97th place and has successfully stayed on the chart for 8 consecutive weeks, breaking the group's own record set by their first mini-album (which charted for 5 weeks). They are also rewriting the record for the longest-charting single album by a K-pop boy group that debuted within the last five years every week. The industry is paying close attention to the group, as the work is a result of all five members participating in the music, videos, and choreography overall.
Cortis will kick off their '2026 CORTIS TOUR
' at the Inspire Arena in Incheon from July 17 to 18. This tour has sold out all dates, including the domestic performances and the North American tour in August. Following this, they are scheduled to perform at 'Lollapalooza Chicago' in the United States from July 31 to August 1, and at the 'F1 Singapore Grand Prix 2026' on October 9, drawing attention to the group's global trajectory in the second half of the year.
