A new group of mountain bachelors has arrived.
On the July 7 episode of SBS's 'Mountain Bachelor Hero', a new trio of mountain bachelors appeared and drew attention.
In this episode, comedian Kwak Beom, rapper Nucksal, and singer Roy Kim filled the vacancies left by Jo Jazz and Hyun Bong-sik.
As the three traveled together, they discussed their connections to Lim Young-woong. Kwak Beom said, "I met Lim's team as an opponent when I was on the program 'Let's Play Soccer'," adding, "Actually, we were never on the same side. We were just part of a group of about 100 people at a company dinner after the broadcast."
Nucksal hit the nail on the head by saying, "So you were probably 400 meters apart," and noted that he had only met Lim once to exchange greetings on the same show.
Hearing this, Roy Kim drew laughter by saying, "So it wasn't much of a connection." Roy Kim then sparked envy by revealing his own unique connection, stating, "I actually wrote and produced a song for Young-woong's album."
The three, who kept the conversation going without a moment of silence, arrived at their accommodation in a lively atmosphere. Lim Young-woong and Heo Kyung-hwan naturally came out to greet them upon their noisy arrival.
Additionally, Roy Kim struggled to cross a shallow stream, and Lim Young-woong warmed hearts by building a makeshift stepping stone bridge for him.
Heo Kyung-hwan also poked fun at Kwak Beom's style, which seemed out of place in the mountains, asking, "Did you ride a horse here?"
Once gathered, the group decided on a lunch menu. Lim Young-woong and Heo Kyung-hwan, who had arrived two days earlier, prayed that the menu would not overlap with what they had already eaten. However, to their dismay, the new members suggested the exact dishes the two had already had, eventually leading to the decision to have stir-fried pork (jeyuk-bokkeum) once again.
Lunch was prepared under the leadership of Kwak Beom. He cooked without hesitation, claiming he had no recipe and relied solely on his instincts.
The stir-fried pork he made looked mouth-watering. The members marveled, saying, "You could sell this as is." However, Kwak Beom wondered aloud, "Are you all just trusting me even though I haven't even tasted it?" to which the members replied with confidence, "It's definitely going to be delicious."
Still, it was suggested that someone should taste it, and Nucksal took the role. At that moment, Nucksal's expression turned somewhat strange.
Nucksal remarked, "It feels like an important guest hasn't arrived. Someone is missing." Kwak Beom then tasted it himself, saying, "I'll know when I taste it." Finding the seasoning off, Kwak Beom poured in a large amount of sugar, leaving everyone flustered.
Meanwhile, the end of the broadcast teased the unexpected variety show skills of the new mountain bachelors, raising anticipation for the next episode.
