At approximately 5:00 p.m. today (July 7), an SUV collided with a van parked on the shoulder of a road in Gwayeok-myeon, Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do.

The accident resulted in 11 people sustaining minor injuries, including the driver of the SUV and 10 passengers in the van, all of whom were transported to a hospital.

It was determined that the van was carrying elderly individuals who use a nearby welfare facility.

The police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident, based on statements from the SUV driver, who claimed that they did not see the vehicle that was stopped on the road.
