A fire broke out on the 11th floor of a 20-story apartment building in Wadong-dong, Paju, Gyeonggi Province, at 10:46 a.m. today (July 7).

No casualties have been confirmed so far, but a series of reports were filed as thick black smoke billowed from the building.

Fire authorities have issued a Level 1 response and are currently engaged in firefighting operations.

Police and fire authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage once the blaze is fully extinguished.
