A man's face is visible amidst the rubble of a building.

He remains conscious and is able to communicate, seemingly hearing the urgent voices of the rescue team.

He attempts to lift his body, but the tight space makes it difficult, and he soon covers his face with the clothing he was wearing, perhaps as debris begins to fall.

Four survivors were dramatically rescued from the wreckage of a building in the Caraballeda area of La Guaira state, which was struck by the strong earthquake.

Venezuelan authorities reported that the group, consisting of two children, one man, and one woman, was rescued 11 days after the earthquake struck on June 24.

It has been 267 hours since the earthquake occurred, which is four times the 72-hour golden time for survival typically cited in disaster medicine.

The survivors reportedly received emergency treatment at the site before being transported to a hospital by ambulance.

Despite the news of the dramatic rescue, the number of casualties from the earthquake continues to rise.

The Venezuelan government has tallied at least 3,342 deaths and 16,700 injuries resulting from the series of earthquakes.

While it is reported that more than 30,000 people remain missing, rescue operations have effectively entered their final phase.

The United Nations Development Programme estimated the damage from this earthquake at 6.7 billion dollars, or approximately 10.3 trillion won, which accounts for 6 percent of Venezuela's GDP.
