Today (July 6), sporadic rain continued, mainly in the central regions. Tomorrow, heavy and intense rain is expected, particularly in the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon-do, until the morning.

From the afternoon through the night, sporadic rain will continue, similar to today.

Meanwhile, as hot and humid southwesterly winds blow in, heat wave advisories were issued today, primarily for the eastern regions.

In these areas, the apparent temperature is expected to reach around 33°C again tomorrow.

First, until tomorrow morning, more than 80mm of rain is expected in the Seoul metropolitan area and northern Gangwon-do, with up to 60mm of heavy rain in other parts of the central region.

In the afternoon, as rain clouds develop sporadically, there will be significant variations in precipitation levels depending on the area.

If you look at the current position of the stationary front, it has moved far away to the waters south of Jeju Island, and shower clouds are expected to develop in the Gangwon-do region until tonight.

Tomorrow, as the stationary front forms again to the north of the Korean Peninsula, heavy rain is expected in the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon-do starting from the morning.

Morning temperatures are expected to be around 24°C in most areas, creating a muggy atmosphere comparable to tropical nights, while daytime temperatures will rise to around 33°C, mainly in the southern regions.

Strong and heavy rain is expected in some areas until this coming Thursday.
