SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Flex X Cop 2' (written by Kim Ba-da, directed by Kim Jae-hong), which premieres on Friday, August 7, announced its return to the small screen on July 6 by releasing the first stills featuring the unique status of lead actor Ahn Bo-hyun (playing Jin I-soo).

'Flex X Cop 2', the follow-up to 'Chief Kim', is a refreshing and exhilarating investigative drama featuring the teamwork between chaebol detective Jin I-soo, who uses his wealth to turn the tables when investigations hit a dead end, and the new team leader, Joo Hye-ra (played by Jung Eun-chae). In the previous season, Jin I-soo, a third-generation chaebol who left behind his position as a conglomerate chairman to become a formal detective armed with a sense of justice and camaraderie, returns in Season 2 with even more evolved, high-end "cider" action. His immense financial power, which includes chartering a private jet with his own money to solve cases, remains unchanged. Appearing in a Mexican restaurant filled with locals, he has perfectly transformed into a member of a traditional Mexican band, a "mariachi," claiming it is to match the local TPO (Time, Place, and Occasion). His appearance, dressed in a large sombrero and a flashy gold-embroidered suit, fully reflects his undiminished wealth and his signature "attention-seeking" personality.

In particular, his signature "annoyingly charming" personality—playing the guitar and enjoying Latin romance even in tense, life-threatening moments, and maintaining a relaxed, dimpled smile even in the face of a criminal's threat—brings laughter to viewers. Expectations are high for his performance as he continues to shake things up by combining his police badge with his capital, still retaining his chaebol flair despite having grown into a full-fledged detective.
