Woman in Her 60s Suffers Fractures After 15-Meter Fall Near Seoraksan's Dumun Falls

A woman in her 60s, identified as A, fell approximately 15 meters near Dumun Falls in Seoraksan National Park, Buk-myeon, Inje, Gangwon Province, at around 11:40 a.m. today (July 5).

Although she remained conscious, A was transported to a hospital with suspected fractures, complaining of pain in her back and knees.

The Korea National Park Service special rescue team and the 119 rescue squad stated that they rescued A and transported her by stretcher, as helicopter access was difficult due to poor weather conditions.
