The action drama 'General Manager Kim,' starring So Ji-sub, has surpassed a 20% viewership rating.
According to Nielsen Korea, a viewership rating research company, the fourth episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'General Manager Kim,' which aired yesterday (July 4), recorded a nationwide rating of 21.6%.
This marks the third-highest viewership rating for an SBS Friday-Saturday drama, following 'The Penthouse 2' (29.2%) and 'The Fiery Priest' (22%) on a nationwide basis.
Starting with a 9.5% rating for its first episode, 'General Manager Kim' has set a new personal best with every episode, jumping to 15.7% for the second, 18.8% for the third, and finally breaking the 20% mark in the fourth episode.
'General Manager Kim,' which premiered on June 26, is a revenge action drama about a former special agent father who fights with everything he has to track down his missing daughter.
The show was also released on Netflix, where it reached third place on the Global Top 10 Non-English TV Shows list within three days.
