Kim Joo-hyung has slipped into the middle of the pack in the third round of the PGA Tour John Deere Classic.
Kim finished the third round of the tournament, held at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois, with a 2-under-par 69, carding four birdies and two bogeys.
With a total score of 9-under 204, Kim dropped from a tie for 19th place in the second round to a tie for 27th, entering the final round seven strokes behind the co-leaders.
Lucas Glover (USA) and Lee Hodges (USA) are tied for the lead at 16-under 197.
Kim struggled to gain momentum, alternating between birdies and bogeys, and remained at even par for the round until the 14th hole.
He birdied the par-4 15th hole after sticking his second shot within 1.3 meters of the hole, and closed out his third round by sinking a 1-meter birdie putt on the par-4 18th.
Im Sung-jae carded five birdies and two bogeys to finish 3-under for the day, bringing his total to 8-under 205 and moving into a tie for 37th place.
