Negotiations for the follow-up to the ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran are expected to resume on July 11, Saudi Arabia's state-owned Al Arabiya television reported on July 4, local time.

Citing sources, the broadcaster reported that the talks between the two countries are scheduled to restart in Pakistan, which is acting as a mediator, following the conclusion of the funeral for the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

According to the report, the upcoming negotiations will address several key issues, including sanctions against Iran, the release of frozen Iranian funds, and nuclear negotiations.
