As the stationary front gradually moves northward, the rain will expand to the southern parts of Chungcheong and the southern Gyeongbuk region tomorrow, July 4.
By tomorrow, heavy rain of up to 150mm or more is expected to be concentrated in the mountainous areas of Jeju.
On Sunday, the day after tomorrow, the rain will expand nationwide, including Seoul and the metropolitan area.
The expected rainfall on Sunday is 5 to 20mm in the metropolitan area, and 20 to a maximum of 80mm in other regions.
Humid daytime heat with a perceived temperature of around 31°C (88°F) is expected to continue through the weekend.
