Singer Kim Gun-mo has recently released a new song for the first time in 10 years.

He shared that the guitar was what helped him endure through difficult times, and that he was able to return to music by playing the instrument.

Kim resumed his activities on July 1 with the release of his remake song, "Where Are You Heading."

The music video features him singing while playing the guitar himself.

In an interview, Kim explained that because he felt overwhelmed with emotion, he spent his days playing the guitar instead of the piano he was accustomed to, which eventually led to the recording of this new song.

He described this release not as a comeback or a return to the stage, but as the debut of "Kim Gun-mo, the guitarist."

Looking back, he said the long hiatus was a necessary time in his life.

He remarked that although he thought the tower he had built over 28 years had completely disappeared, the bricks remained, and he now wants to be someone who uses those bricks to pave a new path.
