Police have launched an investigation after a woman in her 40s was found dead with stab wounds at a residence in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do.

On June 30 at 6:28 p.m., police received a report that a woman in her 40s, identified as A, was found dead at a residence in Jungang-dong, Seongsan-gu, Changwon.

The report was reportedly made by an acquaintance of a man in his 40s, identified as B, who is considered a suspect.

It is understood that A was found with stab wounds at the scene.

Police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the incident and the cause of death by questioning B and other individuals in the vicinity.

A police official stated, "As this is an ongoing investigation, we cannot confirm specific details."
