Approximately 100 days after the launch of the full-scale Integrated Community Care program, data shows that about 46,000 people applied, with 37,000 individuals utilizing the services.
According to the Ministry of Health and Welfare, a total of 123,595 services were provided, averaging 3.3 services per person.
Among these, daily living support, such as housekeeping and transportation assistance, accounted for the largest portion at 43.1%.
However, 4 out of 10 citizens responded that they are still not well-informed about the Integrated Community Care system.
To address the inconvenience of in-person applications, the Ministry plans to add an online application feature. Furthermore, it intends to introduce a performance-based differential budget support system for local governments facing issues with early budget depletion and personnel shortages.
