In late June, a man in Brazil died after falling approximately 150 meters while climbing down from a rock on a cliff where he had been taking commemorative photos.

According to witnesses, he lost his balance while descending from the rock and fell about 152 meters. One witness shouted, "Be careful," to the man, but the accident occurred immediately afterward.

Local authorities believe the man was leading hikers without proper certification at the time and that the accident occurred when he attempted to descend from the opposite side of the rock rather than the standard route. Police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
