V (real name Kim Tae-hyung) of the group BTS has requested that some fans refrain from visiting him at his hotels while he is abroad. There is speculation that this behavior has been affecting his sleep.

On July 1, V posted a long message on his social media along with a screenshot of his sleep records. The shared data showed a total sleep time of 2 hours and 27 minutes, with only 21 minutes spent in deep REM sleep.

V stated, "I am very grateful for the warmth with which you welcome us, but I would appreciate it if you could refrain from coming to the front of our hotel if possible." He added, "I don't want to share where I am staying, and it also affects my condition for performances, so I am asking for your understanding." He continued, "During tours, I value the time I get to visit local restaurants, walk the streets, and enjoy the country comfortably. I hope there will be no more instances of people coming to the hotel. I ask for your consideration."

V, who is currently fulfilling overseas schedules, recently shared updates by posting photos from his attendance at a Celine fashion show in Paris, France.

V's plea comes shortly after his agency, Big Hit Music, reiterated its stance on taking strong legal action against stalking and privacy violations.

Last month, Big Hit Music announced through the fan community platform Weverse that "loitering or waiting near an artist's residence, or leaving gifts unilaterally, is not a simple expression of interest but a clear criminal act." The agency stated it would respond with a zero-tolerance policy to stalking and privacy infringements, both domestically and internationally.

In fact, BTS member Jungkook personally appealed to fans during a live broadcast last year while serving in the military, saying, "Please do not come to my home." Subsequently, a foreign stalker who repeatedly visited his residence was sent to trial and received a one-year prison sentence suspended for two years.
