The group CORTIS has issued an apology regarding the recent controversy over a flight boarding delay.
On June 30, Big Hit Music, the agency representing CORTIS, stated, "Regarding the flight from Paris, France, to Incheon on the 26th, our arrival at the airport was delayed due to traffic congestion caused by a car accident. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to the passengers who were on the same flight."
Previously, posts claiming that the flight's departure was delayed due to CORTIS's late boarding had spread across online communities and social media.
However, the agency completely denied allegations raised online that the group "blocked the passenger flow on the airport boarding bridge to change clothes." Online posts had circulated with photos and claims such as, "They were standing there blocking the way and changing clothes for 3 minutes. Do they own the boarding bridge?"
In response, Big Hit Music stated, "That is not true," and explained, "That scene was from a process of returning home after finishing a schedule in Japan last October, where they were organizing their belongings after all other passengers had already disembarked."
The agency also refuted claims made by some that "boarding was delayed during their departure for a concert in Japan last May," stating, "At that time, boarding was completed well before the boarding deadline."

Meanwhile, CORTIS is gaining popularity on domestic and international music charts with their title track "REDRED" from their mini-album released last May, and they are preparing to hold their first solo tour, "2026 CORTIS TOUR 'PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN'," in the second half of the year.
