Actor PARK BOGUM is taking on his first voice acting role in an animated film, and he has also lent his vocals to the movie's soundtrack, Follow the Light.

Lotte Entertainment, the importer and distributor of the film David, released the music video for Follow the Light, performed by PARK BOGUM, who voices the titular character, on June 30.

The newly released music video features a special version of Follow the Light, one of the film's signature musical numbers, reinterpreted through PARK BOGUM's vocals.

As the voice of the adult David, PARK BOGUM sings the track starting from the scene where the character appears on horseback after growing up. His signature clear and soulful voice captures the conviction and courage of David, who chooses his own path without losing faith even in the face of fear, leaving a lasting impression.

The music video highlights the character of adult David, who continues to seek out those in the most humble positions even after becoming a national hero. His actions—reaching out to those in need and rushing to help those in trouble—perfectly illustrate his growth from a hero into a warm-hearted leader.

The video also builds anticipation for the characters' fates by contrasting the unwavering friendship between David and Jonathan, the son of King Saul, with the image of King Saul, who is obsessed with his own power and glory.

Furthermore, lyrics such as "He has the heart of a lion and the soul of a lamb," "He does not back down even when darkness comes," and "Following the light of hope" symbolically convey the themes of faith, courage, and conviction that the film aims to deliver. PARK BOGUM's soulful vocals, soaring over the grand orchestral sound, provide a moving experience akin to watching a musical, heightening expectations for his new performance on the big screen.

David tells the story of an ordinary shepherd who faces his destiny as a king, beginning with his mother's song and leading to his confrontation with the giant Goliath, whom the world feared. The film will be available in theaters nationwide starting July 10.
