Singer Taeyeon has released a remake of the popular Japanese song "Manchanga."
She has naturally adapted the song to fit Korean sensibilities and the rhythm of the Korean language.
"Manchanga" is a song released in 2023 by Japanese singer-songwriter Tsuki, which gained popularity for its delicate portrayal of the emotions of love and parting.
While maintaining the sentiment of the original track, Taeyeon has completed the song with a new charm by adding her own deep vocals and expressive power.
Woni and Minami, members of the rising girl group RESCENE, appeared in the music video.
This remake was made possible through the J-Pop remake project currently being conducted by singer and television personality Kangnam on his YouTube channel.
It is a project that reinterprets famous Japanese songs through the sensibilities of Korean artists.
More collaborations between various artists and classic songs are expected to follow.
