As the fifth day passes since back-to-back earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 struck Venezuela, local media outlets report that the confirmed death toll has exceeded 1,450.
Authorities stated that 3,150 people have been injured, and approximately 12,700 have been displaced.
A total of 774 buildings have been damaged, with one-third of them completely collapsed, according to the count.
Acting President Delcy Rodriguez explained that 24 countries have sent about 500 tons of relief supplies and approximately 2,700 search and rescue personnel so far.
